auroras & altars

Firstly huge apologies for the fact that it has taken me forever and a day to write this email. After coming back and telling the family and friends it all got a bit hectic with one thing or another. Still things have finally started to calm down so I thought I’d best get round to caching up on my to do’s.
A big thank you to you and all involved who helped us plan a holiday and wedding to remember. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was by far the best, most relaxing, most fun holiday I have been on.
Harriniva is absolutely lovely and everyone there was so friendly and accommodating. I have nothing but praise for everyone there from the people on the front desk to the guides that took us on our activities.
The Huskey safaris were excellent and getting to hug a 5 week old huskey was definitely a highlight of the trip.
The Wedding day itself was exactly as we wanted it. Completely stress free and just good fun. My friend and I started with a massage in the morning, and even though the lady doesn’t usually do mornings she came in especially for us which was incredible of her. It was the perfect way to start the day.
The only time it came close to disaster was when both of my cameras broke literally 5 minutes before the ceremony was due to start but thankfully Antti (I think that was his name) was on hand and took some wonderful photos (a few of which are attached) on reflection I think it was a blessing in disguise as we not have had nearly a many lovely shots!
The igloo was beyond perfect (thank you for recommending it over the other alternative) the decorations they had done were beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Having the meal in the Kota was just fantastic and we felt really spoilt. The food during the entire trip had been second to none but the food they prepared in the Kota was even more amazing and worth every penny.
Finishing off spending the evening in the spa cabin was a perfect way to end a perfect day.
Once again thank you so much for your help and recommendations. We aren’t counting that as our honeymoon so once we have saved up a few more pennies we may even look to doing something similar for our honeymoon. Even if not we shall definitely be returning to Harriniva at some point.
